By Decree 141/2017 / ND-CP, the minimum wage by area is as follows.
· Region 1: 3.88 million Vietnamese Dong (approx. 20,000 yen)
· Region 2: 353 thousand Vietnamese dong (approx. 18 thousand yen)
· Region 3: 3. 309 million Vietnamese Dong (approx. 15,000 yen)
· Region 4: 2.26 million Vietnamese dong (approx. 13,000 yen)
By raising the minimum wage by region, the upper limit of unemployment
insurance contribution (20 times the minimum wage by region) will be raised.
However, it only affects the unemployment insurance costs of employees
and companies only if they exceed the limit already.
